Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at University of Texas at Austin - UT 2.9 Every women in my family has been a theta and I would have been the 5th one had I been accepted into Texas theta. But not only was I dropped I was dropped without even meeting these girls. they dropped me based on a 3 minute video I made for recruitment. I was devastated because my whole life I was brought up surrounded by theta everything and all I wanted was to be sisters with my mom and grandma but I didn’t even get the chance!!!!! I can’t judge Texas theta too much because I never met them but I do know that they recruit before recruitment even begins and I’m pretty sure they have a list of girls they want before rush even starts. It sucks because now I’ll never get to share that with my family. additionally it seems like theta only hangs out with certain other sororities and fraternities and there is a hierarchy.
