hows the greek life here? and how important is it to join one?

It's not everything, but it definitely helps you stay connected on campus, especially with the strong study abroad element at Pepperdine.
Greek life isn't like what you'd experience at a state school, but the frats throw some great parties, and the sisterhood at many of the sororities is incredible.
