I don't get what all the hype about Pi Phi is about. They are a nice group of girls and they are definitely down to earth but I don't know how the got a "Top Tier" reputation. They stay completely to themselves and they barely participate in other greek philanthropies. They are definitely cliquey and think they are better than everyone else. I would say they are nice but not friendly. I like them and they are a good group of girls but they should get off their high horse.

Kappa may be one of the top houses on campus when you consider their looks & social life but their sisterhood is near the bottom. These girls are as fake as plastic & try their hardest to look like Barbies. It is well known that the Kappas are divided & a lot of them do not like each other. They are the epitome of "Mean Girls." They are extremely catty & if you don't fit into their perfect cookie cutter mold then you're out. I got a bid from them but turned them down for this & I'm happy I did.

The DG's are the only girls I would really consider "Top Tier." They do have some beautiful girls, they seem fun and friendly, and they are involved in a lot. The only criticism I have is that they are only slightly less superficial than Kappa. They base a lot on looks and unless you have an outstanding personality to try to make up for that then you probably won't get a bid. I do like these girls a lot though and they are a great chapter.

The Alpha Phi's are known for being very girly and they definitely live up to that reputation. They are a very big chapter so you can see them all over but that doesn't really mean that they are that active. Some of them are really sweet girls but I see most of them just hangout within themselves. Seems like a nice chapter.

You really don't see or hear anything about the AKA's. I only know one and she seems really sweet but she didn't seem too enthusiastic about being in the chapter. The rarely participate in other greek philanthropies and I don't think they have one of their own. I know they are relatively new and is smaller than the other sororities so they could be trying to grow their chapter before they really incorporate themselves. I'm interested to see what they do.

It's not really fair that Gamma Phi has a bad rep. They are really nice & friendly girls who are trying hard to improve their chapter. They may not be the hottest sorority on campus but they do have some beautiful girls and their last fall pledge class was a huge improvement. Their rodeo philanthropy last fall was incredibly successful & they have been upping their game in supporting other greek philanthropies. I think under their new leadership they will start rising & will be the 1's to watch.

yes these girls may love the bible and may be cliquey but overall they are a great group of girls. so genuine, fun, caring. a decent amount does go out to party, but they dont flash pi phi to keep a good reputation, therefore it seems like pi phis dont party. agreed, pi phi DG and kappa are at top at Pepperdine

The most like a big school fraternity, these guys actually care about tradition and their brotherhood, and most importantly they know how to have the best time doing it. I have been around these guys for my four years and they've been the only fraternity I would call Top Tier here. They just brought in a great pledge class to continue their tradition. If there's one piece of advice I would give out to anyone thinking about rushing a fraternity at Pepperdine, Rush Sigma Chi.
