I'd say if anyone became the new KDR/Pike/Phikap it would be SAE. The guys are a mix of "bro" and "classy", often at the same time. They could be more involved but they definitely know how to have fun and always get a solid pledge class.

Well you have to give them credit, they're the only fraternity that survived the CMU anti-fraternity blitzkrieg of the past decade. Everyone else got kicked off or lost their house, but SAE is as good as ever. Their greek sing show was hilarious.

SAE definitely has a major campus presence and has been a house for over 90 years because of it has been able to balance giving back to the community while having a tight brotherhood. and being a ton of fun Many CMU students consider SAE to be the most respected and prestigious fraternity at CMU due its history and success socially, academically, and extracurricularly. The main negatives are that its on probation for the 2012-13 school year, and there are a lot of hipsters in their house.

Heard they make their pledges clean their kitchen, cant really believe that such primitive techniques are still being used in Carnegie Mellon in order to make members feel like it was worth joining that org. Really speaks to the value of the org
