Alpha Phi on Drake campus is such an impactful group! They are incredibly inclusive and go out of their way to be an impactful group on campus. They are a wonderful group of sisters that care about their community and are involved with many other FSL organizations.

Love them, they’re so fun and so social. Always fun to see at parties. I always see them out and a bout and they’re all super super involved in activities outside of Greek life

Probably the only chapter that recruits off looks. They do have a good recruitment process but they are the least diverse house by a mile. Not that friendly outside of their house either, but some are nice. It honestly depends which one you meet. Some are super sweet but most are crazy and judgy.

They do a great job getting involved in FSL and across campus. But, there’s only ever 1 or 2 non-white, thin women per pledge class. It’s very obvious they favor appearances over all. There’s some very sweet Phi’s but the chapter as a whole doesn’t value being nice. they value looking nice.

This sorority seems to be a hit or miss, some girls are the nicest and best people you’ll meet and others are just mean and cliquey. As a whole, the chapter looks very similar. I think they are the only ones that may stray away from values based recruitment because it seems that every pledge class looks the same. I heard they bid promise during recruitment but I don’t know if that is true or not. From what I hear, a lot of their rules seem high maintenance, but likely for good reasoning. Their philanthropy does good work, but I don’t see them involved in much outside of their house. They have really fun and creative social events, and is a top house along with kappa. I’m an outsider so my opinion isn’t biased but I also don’t really know how the chapter functions on its own so it could be a great house to be in. It also is apparently a very nice house so that’s good too.

i’m not sure what “scandals” the people on here are talking about but i know a few girls in phi and they’ve always been really nice to everyone. the girls in phi are super genuine and would never start drama.

I have a couple friends in Phi that I love, but when you look at the chapter as a whole it is completely different. They are very mean and only care about partying and making sure everyone knows that. It is scandal after scandal and nothing ever gets done from what I heard. They live for the drama. Glad my friends in it separate themselves from that part of it.

Some phis are nice, others are super judgy/mean. Since they recruit based on looks, they take very few plus-size girls (which makes them stand out compared to the other four chapters on the street). While not all of them of course, but most of them are flaky and difficult to talk to.
