Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Drake University - DU 3.0 This sorority seems to be a hit or miss, some girls are the nicest and best people you’ll meet and others are just mean and cliquey. As a whole, the chapter looks very similar. I think they are the only ones that may stray away from values based recruitment because it seems that every pledge class looks the same. I heard they bid promise during recruitment but I don’t know if that is true or not. From what I hear, a lot of their rules seem high maintenance, but likely for good reasoning. Their philanthropy does good work, but I don’t see them involved in much outside of their house. They have really fun and creative social events, and is a top house along with kappa. I’m an outsider so my opinion isn’t biased but I also don’t really know how the chapter functions on its own so it could be a great house to be in. It also is apparently a very nice house so that’s good too.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Drake University - DU 4.7 i’m not sure what “scandals” the people on here are talking about but i know a few girls in phi and they’ve always been really nice to everyone. the girls in phi are super genuine and would never start drama.

Alpha Phi - ΑΦ Sorority at Drake University - DU 1.9 I have a couple friends in Phi that I love, but when you look at the chapter as a whole it is completely different. They are very mean and only care about partying and making sure everyone knows that. It is scandal after scandal and nothing ever gets done from what I heard. They live for the drama. Glad my friends in it separate themselves from that part of it.

A lot of people on this site talk about aphi self ranking like it is a bad thing. As a woman of alpha phi, I genuinely love my chapter!!! Obviously, we aren't perfect but no sorority is. I have met some of my best friends because of alpha phi and I am so thankful for the opportunities it's given me.
