tri delt
by: StupidWhy doesn't tri delt get any crap on this website? Literally every house does but tri delt. It's sketchy and honestly they're overrated and barely top tier.

Here's what's going to happen to this post within 6 hours:
Some lunatic is gonna come on here and be like. "OK GPHI OR KAPPA OR DG OR PI PHI. We know you hate tri delt but stop trying to tear them down. This is CLEARLY the work of one of said houses for (lists off a bunch of crazy, irrelevant, over analyzed and over thought reasons that make absolutely no sense)"

I think TriDelt doesn't get much crap for the same reasons all the established houses don't get much crap. No one would believe it. There are reasons the top houses are the top houses: they put on a good rush, they have high standards and they are proud of their sisterhood. There are no wannabes in these houses (ChiO, TriDelt, PiPhi, Theta and probably ADPi) because they are the real deal. So if someone talks smack most of us realize it isn't true. You are welcome to start something about TriDelt, but people will come to their defense just like people came to PiPhis defense today. These are strong houses and the pride of Greektown. There should be more houses like them.

To the comment "huh".... I am going through rush and I have heard a lot of good things about tri delt from girls in other sororities (who aren't gphi)/ many of my GDI guy friends too. Can you please explain why you can't take them seriously? I mean I thought they got pretty good grades and were involved? I also thought they had a pretty good rep among other houses... I'm confused!

They are known for grades and being pretty involved, however they don't place in comps most of the time and they are far more known for being hot and social

Some girl said she had screen shots and that she submitted them to PHA and I didn't believe it but now my friends in Pi Phi are admitting that there was a small group of girls who decided to make an unaffiliated Tumblr to try and get on TFM and were caught and are now being dealt with.

Unfortunately, Nationals are now involved. Since headquarters for PiPhi are in STL, it's pretty easy for them to address the situation. I'm confident it will blow over before recruitment officially begins - whether those members are allowed to participate or not.

My mom was at Mizzou in the late '70s and early '80s. She said the three houses that were absolutely on top were PiPhi, ChiO and Theta. The next tier were TriDelt, DG and ADPi. She said Kappa was considered a good house, but that it was easy to get into, sort of like Alpha Chi and Alpha Phi. There were fewer sororities, then, and fewer girls going through rush, of course.

And as for tridelta? The only people who like tri delta are the men of frat row and gphi. Everyone else just laughs at them and makes jokes about them. My roommate and I would always joke about how we just couldn't take them seriously. I mean you're delusional if you honestly think those two houses have everyone on their side.
