we're all top tier!

I'm tired of seeing so much negativity on this site. Here are some great things I noticed during recruitment about each chapter!
AXO - I felt instantly welcomed when I walked into your house! Maybe it's not the biggest or newest, but it's charming and has character! I loved talking to so many fun, outgoing girls who sincerely care about each other!
Alpha Phi - You girls are the cutest! Everyone I talked to had a bubbly and upbeat personality! This house is fun!
ADPi - You all were some of the nicest, most sincere girls I've met!
Chi Omega - What a beautiful house! You all must be so proud! I had great conversations here and really enjoyed how hospitable you were.
Delta - Such pretty girls! I love how you also take a stand against being a "looks-only" house by being so well-rounded in grades and comps.
DG - Another beautiful house. I have several friends in DG and they are the sweetest. Everyone I met through recruitment was also super nice.
Tri Sigma - Such unique and quirky personalities, in a good way! You girls seem to have so much fun just being yourselves. I can tell that y'all have a strong sisterhood!
Phi Mu - definitely the sweetest and most genuine girls in Greek town, hands down! You girls are beautiful, inside and out!
Zeta - very pretty girls! I talked to some awesome people at this house. Also, congrats on doing so well in HOCO this year!
SK - for being fairly new, I really liked this house! Cool girls with great personalities and a really pretty new house!

Theta - beautiful house and beautiful girls! very well-rounded!
KD - very proud to be a member of this great house! I instantly felt at home being here and already love my sisters!
Kappa - such a strong house! you girls are like triple-threats! haha
All in all, each house has great things to offer!

we are not "all top tier." there's the elite houses (delta, chi o, pi phi, kappa) then a bunch of houses no one can ever agree on a correct order for, and then there are struggling houses (KD, phi mu, sigma). sorry but that is the truth. but hey, MOST of our chapters have something going for them!

There aren't "elite" houses, especially Kappa! I personally know LOTS of girls who cut TriDelt, ChiO & PiPhi for DG, GPhi, ADPi, APhi, etc. Everyone is looking for different things in a sorority. I, for one, had very good grades, a ton of activities & was a 2nd generation ChiO legacy but cut them. Nice girls, but not what I was looking for. Why can't we all agree that we have 1 great Greek system instead of a bunch of worthless tiers??!!

C'mon Sweetie. NO ONE cuts Kappa and Chi O on the first day. Simple put, we aren't buying what you're selling. I am pleased that you are proud of your sorority and you had SOME credibility, until, that is, you tried to convince us you cut Kappa and Chi O instead of those houses cutting you.

I cut Chi O and Kappa on the first day. I cut Chi O because a girl I really, really REALLY hated from my high school is a Chi O here. She was a raging b i t c h in HS, and I didn't want 4 more years of that witch. Does that mean Chi O's are all like that? No, of course not. But I'd had enough of her. I cut Kappa because I must have had a terrible girl; I had a very awkward conversation, and I had no connection. I also cut Sigma, Phi Mu and SK on the first day. At the end, I had Pi Phi, AXO and Sigma. I won't say where I ended up, but I'm happy and wouldn't have made the cuts any differently.

I also cut some "really good houses" on the first day. Everyone thought I was crazy for cutting Gphi and Dg (this is when DG was top tier), but my experiences were horrible! I also cut zeta my first day too. same reason as the girl above. there was a crazy chick I didn't want to be associated with. On my last day I had APhi, Pi Phi, and AXO. It was a very hard choice but I am happy with my end decision!

It's true, I didn't want to go back to Chi O or Kappa. Chi O was the first house I went to and I ended up talking to a girl who had no personality and struggled to even keep the conversation going. And I didn't want to go back to Kappa because honestly I couldn't even remember a single conversation I had there or even what their house looked like. I found myself wondering what all the hype was about... I'm sure there are many great girls in both houses, but I just didn't feel like they were the right fit for me. So excuse me for not wanting to go back to a "top-tier" house because I didn't have good conversations. My bad.

Something to remember is that the sororities are the ones really making the decisions. You may have put houses lower on your ranking, but you don't really cut anyone. Also, you don't know where you were on the houses' lists. It may be that you wouldn't have been invited back. Also, you may be lying.
