Fraternity Rush
by: RusherHello. I’m going to be a freshman and I want to rush. I’m wondering if I can get some honest feedback about the fraternities at Mizzou? What’s the honest ranking, who hazes and who doesn’t, who has the most fun, and who is the most well balanced? I don’t want to be in a fraternity where I’m going to have to get weirdly hazed a bunch, and I don’t want to be in a fraternity that doesn’t have much fun. Can someone help me out? I’m really nervous and want to decide if rushing is for me. Thanks.

Delt sig hazing a weird amount. I’m the other houses I don’t think should be too bad. If you ask greekrank about top houses you usually get a biased view bc nobody gets to know every house enough to give you an honest opinion. But in general delt, ato, Fiji, pike, aepi, beta, delt sig, seem to be unanimously agreed to be some of the better, more social houses on campus. Do with that as you may.

If you are looking for a frat that doesn't haze then SigEp is probably the one for you. Newer on campus so not too too well known yet but they have a strict no hazing, no pledgeship policy. You are a full brother as soon as you accept your bid. Their motto is also "building balanced men" so might be what you are looking for in terms of balance. Also, they do 365-recruiting so you'd be able to talk about what you want out of your experience and joining right away.
