A step towards shedding the "sketchy" and "rude" reputation would be to actually hand out your bids the same day as everyone else. It takes pretty much 0 effort other than messaging other rush chairs, would be a sign that you want to be part of the larger community, and it's way more fair to PNMs that could receive multiple bids.

There's always a thin line between defending/ explaining yourself... people are asking for answers to things you try to answer but ssometimes you seem to "defend" yourself on other posts. I just wish you luck this semester.
