thoughts on theta dropping their philanthropy?
by: jjall of KAO is dropping CASA as their national philanthropy, does anyone know what they’re replacing it with/ if tamu will change their local philo? i want to rush KAO when i come in fall cause i have a personal connection to casa but if they drop it i literlaly dont want to rush anymore
#1 by: where did you hear that
the only statement from theta nationals that's out rn is about CASA getting its federal funding cut, not that theta is ending their partnership. very tragic that funds going to children in foster care are being taken away, but it sounds like theta will still be able to fundraise for casa
#4 by: Just don’t
Please don’t joint a sorority solely because of its philanthropy. If you like that philanthropy go volunteer there or find a way to contribute otherwise to them. Philanthropy is only a small part of joining a sorority. There is so much more to a sorority - sisterhood, social opportunities, leadership opportunities. You can still support CASA if you join a different sorority than Theta.
