Stumo will literally turn you into someone you aren’t. my boyfriend isn’t in stumo and they literally all got mad at me. lol be careful out there

My Grandson has become involved with STUMO. He is spending money I give him for his support on campus to go on a week-long retreat. He is not coming home over Christmas break and doesn't respond to my texts. I follow a progressive Christian path and am politically, liberal. I fear this organization is aiming to isolate him from family. Should I be concerned?
