Thoughts after this year's rush

PNM's consistently want tri delt and kappa. I don't personally like them but that's the way it is. Also I feel like at A&M even the "lower" sororities aren't actually bad. Theta and Pi Phi I feel like are pretty similar, Theta gets a bad rep for not partying but they are smart and raise a ton of money so they can't be that bad. Zeta, AXO, and DZ have similar girls but Zeta gets the girls that all three houses want during rush because they are way classier and well known. I think AOPi will do a lot better now that they have a house.
Top: Tri Delt, Kappa, Zeta
Upper Mid: DG, Chi O
Lower Mid: Theta, Pi Phi, KD, AXO
Upper Lower: Gamma Phi, DZ
Lower: ADPi, AOPi

Honestly, it just depends on who you vibe with. I had 10 houses philanthropy round. I ranked DZ, AXO, AoPi, Gamma Phi at bottom. I got invited back to all of them!! I really didn't like AXO and DZ. I just don't "fit" into that crowd. The girls were nice, but imo kinda ditzy. I ended up in sorority that I LOVE!!!

I kept ranking DZ and AXO bottom and they kept inviting me back too! I loved Tri-Delt and liked Kappa. Tri-Delt cut me but Kappa kept me until before pref. Even then, I ranked two other mid tier sororities as my first and second choice and kappa third. They were nice but I was kind of like, eh. Happy where I ended up.

Two of my best friends are DZs one of them is honors with 4.0 and one is a biology (wants to go to med school) also with a 4.0. So if that’s ditzy then I guess you have pretty high standards. I’d venture to say you listened to rumors and didn’t actually form that opinion on your own. Oh and I’m a Kappa.

@ok I based my opinion about DZ on my personal rush experience and conversations I had with actives. Since it was virtual I only got to talk to a few, but that's what I had to work with. So maybe the whole sorority isn't that way. Great. If I had the opportunity to speak with the whole chapter maybe things would have worked out differently. Actually, I would have dropped if that's all I had left. Have a nice day, Kappa!

Well sorry we invited you back. You sound like a b— and I guess our chapter dodged a bullet honey! hope you are happy where you are and gain some self confidence so you don’t feel the need to put others down & call them names like you’re in 4th grade.

In what way did they do badly? I have two close friends who pledged Chi-o. One loves it and other is not so thrilled. I'm hoping she will meet some people she likes.
