What is it? And is it a formal event(dress up nice)?

It's a pretty big deal, especially being the first event of formal rush and typically where chapter finalize rush lists. I would suggest a traditional suit and tie in conservative colors.

Ok, so I can't tell if this is suppose to be formal attire or not. Can somebody non sarcastically answer my question?
