pref round promises

A lot of people I know who prefed were pretty much told by their first choice sororities they would be in it and got their second or third choice on bid day. Is this a normal thing?

yes, sisters should not be doing that. unfortunately it happens because while the girl who preffed you probably oved you, there may be 100 other sisters who also loved the girls they preffed and therefore you just didnt make it high enough on the end list as much as some sisters may have wanted you to be.
