Serious Question about Suspended Chapters
by: MidAre brothers whose chapters got permanently suspended (Sig Chi, DU, FIJI) allowed to rush and join other chapters in the fall? Does the same apply for PIKE since they are new? Just want to know whether to expect to see those guys at our rush this fall

They pledged an oath and lifetime membership to an organization of which they are still a member, whether they are practicing or not. Do you understand how oaths work? First, they shouldn’t want to pledge another chapter. Second, another chapter wouldn’t want them. This isn’t the high school pickleball club.

they have only made exceptions in really serious circumstances like if a pledge was hazed badly or treated horribly by members

Contact nationals they may make exceptions since they had nothing to do with the chapter removal
