Greek Life: We need to fix it

A wise man once said before an audience of CNU students "None of you are cool". CNU is rebuilding and reforming to become an inclusive campus community where ALL people are equal. Unfortunately the school has its problems with accepting diversity, and being open to new people. Its an accusatory and somewhat high school esque ideal that is floating around campus that doesnt build bridges between people and connects them. It builds hatred. Don't get me wrong its not all bad, and these organizations and the people in them are great people. But the amount of fakery, and outright disrespect some members in these minority groups get is downright horrifying. We have want to be rockstars thinking they are invincible getting away with crime, we have fake people spreading rumors about their "friends". And we have instigators who don't seek to cause problems but to start them. We NEED to be better than this, if it requires a little more of a higher educational standard to get accepted into CNU so be it. We don't need any more juvenile delinquents to enjoy the privilege of a beautiful campus, and opportunities for connection, tradition, and friendship. Lets make CNU doesnt have to be Disney land (kids cry alot there anyways), but it can always do better.
