As someone who is actually part of the Greek community, it’s incredibly upsetting to see that strangers on the internet feel as if they are entitled to talk poorly about an organ that they’ve never had any real interaction with. For anyone who is going through recruitment and reading the greekrank review, don’t let the few negative opinions from some people deter you from checking out a particular chapter. The majority of people who leave these negative reviews don’t actually know the sorority and are simply looking for a way to start drama. Instead of reading fake reviews put out there to try and scare girls, actually reach out to someone in chapter and get to know them for yourself and see who you vibe with the most

There are a number of different reasons that people will decide to leave a sorority. All four sororities have people drop throughout the year for various reasons. AGD happens to take in the largest NM class out of the four so it’s more apparent when someone leaves. Often people leave because they find that the fees associated with joining a sorority are too much or it’s just too great of a load to take on at the moment. Only someone who has no idea about AGD as a chapter, or Greek life in general calls them cliquey and arrogant. It’s unfortunate to see that people feel as if they have to try tear an organization down for things that just aren’t true in order to wreck the positive reputation that they’ve built this year. There isn’t anything wrong with leaving positive reviews about your own organization, if anything it’s a really good thing to see that the people who are part of that sorority are happy and love their chapter. Trying to tank a sororities reviews on greekrank, a website that is only used to tear organizations down and spread false rumours (actually meeting the people in the sorority is really the only way to get an accurate picture of who they are) is pretty sad.

They’re so cliquey and arrogant. Also this page REEKS of self ranking, because only AGDs call themselves ‘up and coming’ when in reality half their member class drops every year before initiations. Don’t get catfished by them lol

AGD has done great this year, they’re very quickly becoming a very well known chapter on campus and are very up and coming.

One of their members left a half eaten tuna fish sandwich in my couch, we only found it after three weeks. Great gals otherwise

AGD has has made some insane changes this past school year. I’ve seen more involvement from their women this school year more than ever. Their new member class seems like they’re very eager to be involved in the community and build a positive reputation. It seems like as some of their problematic older members have graduated or left chapter that they’ve been able to work through some of the issues that they had before. In organizations as large as this one, there is usually bound to be some sort of issue occasionally, but it seems like they’re doing a good job of preventing that now. Good job ladies, keep up the hard work

There have been a lot of really good changed in AGD it would seem! I have seen a lot of these ladies in a number of different philanthropy events and they have overall been really involved. It seems like some of their problematic older members have graduated and they are doing very well now. Good job.

having gotten to know a number of these girls and see their chapter dynamics, i am personally just not a fan. lots of this criticism is very very valid. give a chapter a small boost of confidence and their egos inflate astronomically. i’ll be clear though, there’s a few really amazing girls in this chapter however as a chapter i am wholly unimpressed along with how they treat other sorority women both to their faces and behind their backs.
