Phi Mu - ΦΜ Sorority at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis - IUPUI 1.0 I'm really upset I got a bid from this chapter. I only accepted because I really wanted to be a part of Greek life. Everything about them feels so fake. I hope things get better, but it looks doubtful. They've already made me embarrassed to be a new "phi." They're even mean to the other sororities who haven't done anything wrong to them. They're awful.

I'm so sorry you feel this way and it makes me very sad that you would accuse such harsh things of your new sisters. :( As stated at pledging when you received your Phi PIn, "... we entrust to you this shield, which symbolizes our protection to you. Upon it is the Greek letter Phi, the first letter of the Greek word Famezo, which means “promise.” So by having the name phi, you have been given our protection and we have been given your promise. It is a national title that gives you Phi Mu's protection and support. I hope you intend to give us a fighting chance because we love you, we want to protect you, and we want you to be apart of our sisterhood. You were given a bid for a reason and we see potential in you that you don't even see in yourself yet! If you're feeling uncomfortable or have questions about our sisterhood or any aspect of Phi Mu I encourage you to reach out and talk to someone. Not every girl in our chapter is the same but at the end of the day we all share common values. We love our sisters, we honor our sisters, and are true to our sisters. I hope you can find your niche. With all my Phi Mu love.

Very fake. Put on a front, especially when they're trying to get new girls. They'll try to act nice for the first month or so and then you'll see the real them and realize how awful of a choice you've made. Quitting phi mu was the greatest decision I've ever made. They made my life a living hell. I truly wish I would have joined another sorority. love, honor, and truth my ass.

Phi Mu - ΦΜ Sorority at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis - IUPUI 2.8 While some of these girls are nice others aren't. They claim to get along with every fraternity and sorority on campus but that's a complete lie. Those that I have met have been either nice or really rude. They put others down to make themselves look and feel better as you can see on this page. From what I have noticed with these girls, you either love them or hate them. However, if you do plan on rushing keep an open mind. Not everyone likes the same things.
