Any idea if there will be rush events for the spring, im transferring in and want to rush a house this semester. Am I out of luck if i do not know anyone in a house? or will there be rush parties that are open?

no open rush parties. but there will be open dry events at pretty much all houses. contacting rush chairs off fraternity websites for open dry rush events is ok since you're a transfer.

Just ask around, meet people, most houses would be more than happy to meet you.
