How much do things like looks and money help you at rush for houses like Sigma Chi, ATO, SAE, Pike, etc.?

those houses are all easy to get bids at if you're not weird. rush is only unpredictable for girls, fraternities bid anyone as long as you're not a goober. and even if you're a goober, you can always go to AKL.

As the poster mentioned above, so long as you can maintain conversation and aren't nervous around the brothers of that house, you will get a bid.

You should also be able to pay the dues, though you can generally work out money issues through payment plans and the like.

On a sidenote, AKL is doing much better than in years past - give them a break!

A lot. They take rich boys a lot faster than the less well off.

One thing they can consider is dues. If someone is unlikely to pay even on a payment plan then they're just going to get in the way of things.

They help a lot at most houses. However, you can still get into most houses if you are cool and well-rounded.
