Gamma Phis. What did they do so wrong?

people said tri delts did dirty rushing last year. what is dirty rushing? and also what are snap bids?

Gamma Phis are being accused of social climbing, or talking themselves up and other sororities down. With that being said, every house IS guilty of that, because who wouldn't show love to their own house? So don't take this site seriously enough to not consider them, go in with an open mind. Dirty rushing is anything said to a PNM that would insinuate that they will give them a bid. Or any rushing done outside of the sanctioned rush events. Snap bids are bids given out by houses in order to make their quota, because they didn't have enough girls pledge them. That's what DDD had to do last year.

anyone have registration #s for recruitment? how many girls are signed up so far?

Delta Gamma has been top forever, and it most likely always will be because of history. They are very exclusive girls, only hang out with eachother. They are the most diverse "top house" and actually like to hang out with eachother on their breaks/summer. They are very nice and approachable one on one, but definitley intimidating as a group.
Kappa Alpha Theta is also the queen. They have a great location, right on the quad, by Kams, and by the Illini Book Store. There are absolutely goregous girls in this house, although sometimes very catty. They are liked by most guys. They are the kind of girls that make sure to take perfect pictures and look good when wearing there letters.
Delta Delta Delta (Tridelt)is also a top sorority. These are girls that are probably the most catty of the three "top houses", but also because they have some of the prettiest girls. Very intimidating as a whole, often disliked from different sororities but loved by frats. They are huge partiers/stoners.

Gamma Phi Beta is not a queen, probably due to history of sororities but they definitely are a good looking house. 9 out of every 10 girls there is goregous. Other then good looks and huge partiers they dont have too much going for them, philantrophy/sisterhood wise. Very genuine and cool girls.
Alpha Chi Omega-some people see it as a top tier house, others see it as not. Either way they are extremely nice and down to earth group of girls. Location sucks though in Urbana, doesnt stop the girls from partying (hardcore). Very pretty girls, just like the other top houses.
Alpha Phi has the best location on campus and some of the most pretty older girls. Definitely went downhill in later years though, there recent pledge class was horrible. Well known on campus because they always wear their letters and go out on weekdays/weeknights. Great sisterhood and philantrophy, however extremely expensive sorority/somewhat rich stuck up girls.

I think that for most girls, these 9 houses seem the most popular picked, mostly because they have great socials and are well known on campus with the most "prettiest" girls. That being said, there are pretty girls in every single house and every house has fun. Sisterhood, philantrophy, and friendship are the most important qualities of greek life. for incoming freshman, definitely rush and enjoy every step along the way :)

Get in one of these houses and you will be just fine

I know tons of pretty girls that are not in those "pretty girl" houses and some real dogs in the " pretty" girl houses you just mentioned. You really can not generalize like that. It is unfair and untrue
