I thought I was safe

I got home for the summer two weeks ago and I thought I was safe from school. Someone tell me why I was awoken from my slumber by the recurring call of ferda chants. I couldn’t get over my dream, and all I heard was that word. I thought being home was safe, but being home has made my ferda fear worse than ever.
