sorority legacy
by: pnmMy cousin is in a sorority in another state. We have that sorority at TXST. Does that make me a legacy?

It depends on the sorority. Some of the sororities here consider cousin/aunt to be legacy material. Others say only mother/stepmom/sister/grandma etc. it's all based on the national rules of the sorority. Your cousin will know whether or not her sorority falls into the "cousin" category or not. If you do not end up being a legacy, MAKE SURE she writes you a damn good rec letter! It will definitely be taken into account as a much better rec letter than say, a person you've never met!
