rush outfits

How important are brand names for rush? Like if I'm not wearing Lilly, Jack Rogers and David Yurman for example, will some houses cut me? Please, I really need to know. I heard rumors that this is true.

No. You don't need to be wearing any of that stuff to impress any of the chapters. Everyone thinks it's annoying when girls are decked out in Lilly anyways, and Jack Rogers haven't been in style since 2014 so why would you wear those? Lol. A David Yurman would never hurt, but no one is going to care if you have one or not. Just be trendy, modest and classy. Go to your local Nordstrom/nemiun/Macy's/whatever and find some cute stuff that fits you well. You don't need to break the bank, but you should try to wear some nicer stuff if you can afford it. I guarantee all of the sororities will look at you like you are trying too hard if you are overly preppy and show up in an outfit like that. They would be more impressed if you showed some style and class

It is not necessarily what brand you wear but how you present yourself. Be comfy. Also, stay away from anything bodycon. It is just plain tacky and a pretzel would look oversized in it.
