Desistered is right on pretty much. The "top tiers" are seen as the ones to join but people aren't usually very happy in them. I'd say the so called "2nd tiers" SK, AZD, and DDD are the ones to join for a great overall experience. Everyone loves being in these.

The past two AZD Pledge Classes have pushed AZD way up - definitely first tier now.

i'd say delta's getting up there too. they got a lot of girls other sororities really wanted this year. plus they just got a house.
