what is the party life like?

Im a girl and I just got into sf state and I always wanted a stereotypical college experience. Are there frat/sorority houses? What do people do for fun? How often do people go out?

So yes, there is a party scene here, but you have to look for it. We have a great greek system, but no houses. If you are looking for a great greek life, you might be better off at San Diego, Chico or Long Beach. We do have a lot of fun though. Come on out to rush and give it a try. You will find your group.
