'picking' a sorority

There is so much talk on here from pnm's about 'picking' their sorority. Just to clarify: the sororities do the choosing. If you are invited to a sorority's pref, then you are on their bid list somewhere, but you are not guaranteed to get your first choice unless you are only invited to one house and put them on your card. Suiciding on your MRABA card will not help you get your first choice one bit, and if you get a bid and turn it down, you are ineligible for another bid for a calendar year. Just understand that the sororities' ranks of the pnm's and whatever quota is will drive the bid matching process. If you get your second choice, take that bid with an open heart!
