freshman frat rush ranks

first semester I rushed around all the frats talked about on here, this is what I thought about all of them to help out other freshman

Sig Chi- good brotherhood, fun parties, would have been a top 3 if they didn’t get kicked, not worth pledging spring sem

Pike- smaller than a few of the other ‘top’ fraternities i’ve read about on here, but got a good impression from every guy I talked to, definitely frat-like guys that have fun parties, probably going to be top 3 after the fall of sig chi, skull, and phi delt

TDX- not sure what’s going on with them right now, heard they’ve been on cease and desist because of one fight but are getting off before next semester, they have big numbers, huge parties, great brotherhood, best sorority relations as of now, if they are cleared for next semester going to be easy for them to be top dogs, definitely give rushing here a look

Kappa Sig- huge house for parties, but seemed like a majority of the brothers didn’t real fit in, not sure what all the kappa sig hype on this website is about, not the most sociable kids to talk, would say they do have a pretty good brotherhood but parties are fun so give them a shot I guess

Chi Psi- nicest fraternity house I’ve seen at Rutgers, and that about sums it up for this fraternity. Parties like once a month, only have like 50 brothers, seemed like a bunch of nerds to me

Theta Chi- huge house definitely utilize it better than any other fraternity with a lettered house, cool guys fun parties slightly smarter/nerdier vibe but still top of my list

TKE- parties i’ve been to have always been a good time, throw down a lot, but no good sorority relations. One of the biggest basements at rutgers though so maybe worth a rush

Overall: my list going into next semester is TDX (if off probation), Pike, Theta Chi, ~~not worth going anywhere else
