There are advantages to being one of the biggest houses on campus. They have a solid reputation on campus as well as the in the greek system. I'm fairly sure they were first in grades for like ten years running a few years ago.

When I was showing up for a party, one of the rush things I was invited to, there was a guy out front that was giving me crap and asking if I was actually invited. Definitely not the most welcoming, but there are some benefits to being in their house.

Betas are known as being the scholarship athlete house. Though scholarship atheletes are no longer allowed in Fraternities this frat still consists mainly of atheletic, good looking men. This is one of the largest houses with 110 members, and a freshman sleeping porch for 25-30. This is due to their overwhelming popularity in both the greek system and dorms. This house is for tier one men.
