Zeta Tau Alpha - ΖΤΑ Sorority Ratings at UTSA

This chapter is known for hating each other behind closed doors!! I’m not even in greek life but any time I’m at parties I hear them talking bad about each other to other people

I’m not sure how this sorority only has one rating but I guess that just proves how no one really pays attention to Greek rating lmao. These girls definitely have a “look” to them but it’s not all they are. However they are kinda of fake and will talk about you behind your back. They care about their philanthropy a lot which is great. However they flaunt their wealth our in the open and only care about money.

zeta is definitely top at UTSA with phi mu right behind them. I thought zeta was super sweet during recruitment & I see that they’re super involved on campus & do their best to interact with all the fraternities & sororities. everyone loves them & I can definitely see why

Zeta was the best sorority I went to during recruitment. Every girl was sweet and genuine. Picking my Zeta was the best decision of my life.

Zeta for me felt like mean girls, I felt like I was in highschool being judged and made fun of by all of the girls in the chapter. The conversations were just about the bachelor, didn't feel genuine at all. I've heard a lot of negative things about zeta. I felt that I didn't "look" like any of them, which was probably the reason I was dropped after day one. I am sure they have a great sisterhood, but for my experience it was not the best.

Lots of cool girls who make you feel welcomed. Zeta’s are the best girls on campus for sure, rush zeta baby

Zeta and Phi Mu are definitely top tier but Zeta has a bad sisterhood. Girls are standoffish and somewhat rude. Other than that, pick one of these two sororities.

So sweet! Easily the best sorority on campus. They are very picky during recruitment! Phi Mu and Zeta are known as being the “top” sororities here, but Phi Mu is mostly just good looking, with nothing else. Zeta has a great philanthropy with excellent efforts, all the frats LOVE them.

I want to preface this by saying that I'm not writing this to bash ZTA or tell everyone to rush an alternative sorority. I simply want to share my story as to why I chose ZTA and why I ultimately ended up dropping. I was a zeta for a year before I finally dropped. Joining a sisterhood, I always hoped I would meet girls who would be my lifelong friends and supporters. I fell in love with the idea of having true sisters who I could rely on and would be as loyal to me as I was to them. During recruitment, zeta appeared to portray everything I wanted in my "forever home". However, I quickly found out that loyalty and the idea of sisterhood, in general, wasn't high on their priority list. Soon after bid day the girls became very cliquey and seemed to disregard everything that didn't have to do with partying and drinking. The girls would constantly talk bad about each other and fight over frat boys (HUGE eye roll). On another note, some of the girls were super friendly and genuine and they're the reason I stayed in for as long as I did. Unfortunately, those girls ended up dropping once they saw what the other ones were about. I don't regret being a part of ZTA because I feel that if I hadn't, I would have always wondered if I was missing out. Now, I can confidently know that I'm better off not associated with many of those individuals. It saddens me to see how much their reputation has gone downhill. They've found cocaine in the bathrooms of their formals, posted snapchats of girls drinking and driving, and taken videos of their girls blackout drunk at parties. ZTA will always hold a special place in my heart and I truly hope they can turn their reputation around because i'll always have love for some of the girls in that chapter.

ZTA does have some nice girls. For the majority, mostly I’ve interacted with have been pretty rude but there are some nice ones in there. I would have to say ZTA and Phi Mu are the top ones here at UTSA.
