worries

Hi! I am going to be an incoming freshman next year and I am worried about recruitment. I am hoping to find a group that has a very close bond and I have a very small family so I want an extended family. I want to be involved with a group that is very involved on campus and really tries to succeed. What I have read on this site has me a little worried. I am a very outgoing confident social person but partying isn't my main concern. I just want to go through college with sisters and good memories (and maybe a few event wins :) ) Is this too much to ask or have I set the bar too high?
