They were not involved until the death of that kid.....he was the one who chose to drink they did not force it down his throat. He wasn't even at their house very long. Just because he was there at one point does NOT make them responsible and I'm glad their back because they never should have been suspended.

The most important thing is that a kid lost his life in a horrible tragic way that could have been prevented. Theta chi accepted their suspension for the entirety of the investigation because they realized that. It came out that the kid was only at the fraternity for a few minutes and then left for another party and was not dangerously intoxicated when he left. It's awful that no one after that point realized he was unsafe and what happened should not be pushed under the rug or forgotten, but it wasn't theta chis fault and once they were dropped from the investigation they should have been reinstated

Yeah it actually is their fault. All risk management reminds everyone they are responsible for the individuals at their events , especially their registered, insured chapter house

Involved in the death? You guys had been providing alcohol that night, in conjunction with alcohol he brought and his state, just like any other property, you are liable to what happens to him just as anyone else
