sorority rush 2015

I'm planning on rushing this fall, what are my chances of getting into a top sorority here with a 3.1 unweighted gpa?

GPA is really important. You'll be competing with a ton of girls who have 4.0's so you won't really stand out. You'll get a house, but it may not be the one you want, if you don't have connections. Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. "Top" houses aren't all they're cracked up to be. The girls will be really exclusive to their friends from hs and it's much easier to fit in a house that doesn't have the cliquish vibe.

recruitment is more than just a house assignment by grades. You have to fit with the house and the house has to fit with you. If girls already know you and can tell their sister than you'll fit in, you have a better chance.

So you have many friends in the houses you want? Then you will be fine. It's really all about who you know more than your GPA as long as you have the minimum
