is it common to not get a bid after rushing?

im an incoming freshman this fall and i just wanted to know if its common to not get a bid after going through formal sorority recruitment??

If you try your best to be upbeat and positive during recruitment, don't break any of the Panhellenic rules, and don't suicide bid (put down that you would only accept a bid from one chapter after pref night), then there's no reason you shouldn't get a bid. VT isn't nearly as competitive as big Southern schools with Greek life.
