Give it a chance. It happened to me when I pledged and it worked out great. I love my sorority and after getting to know the girls in the other sorority, it wouldn’t have been as good a fit.

I'm not a Theta, but have been in my chapter a couple years. Give them a few weeks and let them show you how amazing they are! It is hard to really feel a connection over Zoom, but I'm sure you will meet more sisters you connect with!

In response to ?? I have strong opinions because I have wonderful friends in Theta. Again, I'm in a different chapter, but that doesn't mean that my friendships ended the day we chose separate houses. In fact, I have friends in PiPhi, ChiO (roommate), KD, APhi, DDD, SK, GPhi, and AXO.

What was your first choice? Not that I'm blaming you for being disappointed, but some people would kill to get into KD.

Um to "Newbie" I am the original poster so not sure why you answered the question with AXO. My first choice was DG. My two besties got them. I am sure I will be happy in APHI, just initially disappointed my friends got DG and I did not.

I am sure they probably weren't your first choice, but honestly they aren't too bad. They are a solid middle tier house. Have fun!

I got them too and am so disappointed. They were a distant second choice for me. I am not even sure I will stick with it. Everyone says to give it a chance, but I am not sure if I want to put time and money into something I don't feel 100% about. So heartbroken.

Nothing is wrong with them. Some girls just feel threatened when they feel like a house is popular with PNMs. They are being mean really spirited. So sad.
AXO is a great house full of pretty, funny, strong, really cool, wonderful women. You’re going to love it!

Nothing is wrong with them, they were just not my first choice. I really wanted DG and had my heart set on them and really thought I was going to get a bid from them, so naturally I am very disappointed. I am not sure whether I am going to stick with it or not.
