Greek Life is dying?
by: Before you type: Remembe#1 by: jwoods
Dying? No. But it is ill, and 'calgreeks' and the negligent F&SL office are not serving the students of Greek row. Leadership is minimal and micromanagerial. Students are not encouraged to join greek life, and few Greeks are proud to be.
Greek life today must evolve, yes, but instead of helping that development and promoting leadership, this school just pisses on fraternities. What have been some of the most sacred Cal traditions and oldest institutions on campus have become a shell of themselves. We want to be supported, to be taught, to see our mandated IFC dues put to good use. Greek life isn't dead yet, but it may be soon.
