Why does everyone hate aphi so much?
by: HuhJust confused. They seem like a traditional sorority but not any more than kapp, piphi, dg, adpi, etc.

They're a top house just not the top house. Houses like Kappa, Pi Phi and DG tend to have a different status because girls with connections and money join these three houses historically. If you're good looking but from out of state/ girls in the top houses know you from their home town and don't like you or if you're pretty but don't have a great reputation or social skills, you will probably end up in Alpha Phi. Great girls but not as elitist and connected as the other top houses.

My post got deleted but the hometown thing is true... Also Upper tier houses notice when girls aren't being nice during welcome week or if they overstep boundaries.
