what happens at open bidding ?

I was wondering if anyone ever went to open bidding and what is the process ?

If you are asking about continuous open bidding or COB, the answer is, it depends.

If a House only needs a couple of members, it is likely that they will just reach out to people that they know… Friends from clubs, classes, the dorms, teams etc. If they need more they will organize parties and advertise on their Facebook or or other Social media site/s that they are having a party.
