I went through recruitment twice. I dropped the first time because I felt the same way, but ultimately ended up rushing again this spring. I can tell you that a lack of cohesiveness is NOT a unique trait of Zeta or a reason to drop a sorority. You're bound to run into people you don't like in a house. That's going to happen when a sorority consists of 100+ girls. Cliques exist everywhere.I learned that the second time around and although I am in a different house this time, I could have easily been as happy in my previous one. We all go to Berkeley and have a LOT going on in our lives. You can't expect to get to know over 70+ current members or have them constantly hanging out with you in their free time. I've found that the best way to make friends in my house is to go out and socialize--parties, game days, in house lunches/dinners, etc. I would highly reccomend rushing again in the spring or fall.

Although this is berkeley's newest house they can easily rise up this year. They have some hot girls in their new pledge class and a prime location on Greek row. Because they're so new, it's been hard to define themselves and not all their members are stunning but there are definitely some girls in this house that can easily be in other top houses based on looks. Personality wise these girls are are a lot more laid back than top houses in terms of cattiness but not weird or socially awkward like bottom houses. Hard to place them really. Zeta is always really involved with philo, looking to see where this house ends up by the end of the year.

Nice girls. I'd say they're pretty involved. every year someone has run for senate from this house, and they hold 2 positions on PHC. I always see their pink ribbons on peoples backpacks around campus.

Cute girls, decently diverse: mostly white but good mix of brown girls too. I'd say solid middle house, have really successful philanthropy that lots of frats participate in and a really big house in a prime location on Channing circle

I really wanted to like this house. Some girls are really chill and sweet but I dropped because I felt like there was no cohesiveness in the house. I also felt like the old members didn't make an effort to get to know the new members. Can be clicquey. Everyone is extremely different which makes the house diverse.
