Chi o has been doing so well as a sorority they have been getting better and better pledge classes despite the scandal that was two years ago and that just speaks to how great of a chapter they must be. Literally just a group of really sweet, cool, intelligent girls. Mixed group of girls just like every other house at cal but they all seem to really get along with each other and have a lot of fun even though they're not a "top" house. love everyone in the house i've met :)

I don’t care what people say, I loved the girls in this house! I know that speaking to a couple girls during rush doesn’t represent the whole house, but these girls were funny and really calmed me down. I was so nervous and they seemed so genuine that talking with them became really natural. I really liked other houses too but this one stood out.

House appears to be going in a good direction with lots of variety of girls, Smart, athletic, chill, party, etc. I think until the girls that got kicked out graduate, there will continually be bashing by them. Does it really matter to you that much? Time to get on with your lives! Why are you trying so hard to bad mouth a house that obviously is NOT the same? Just grow up.

I really liked this house during recruitment last fall and attended all their parties/rounds during rush. They put on the “fun house” image but I soon learned how fake this was, especially on pref night where the girls didn’t really have anything great to say about each other. I didn’t know it at the time but a lot of what they talked about revolved around partying and pretty much nothing else. I know 4 girls in this house really well and 3 have dropped. I also know a friend in another Chi O chapter who says Berkeley girls are always really pretentious whenever all the local chapters meet up. This wasn’t really surprising to me but it also sucks that these girls aren’t even open to being friendly to other sisters in the SAME sorority. They are desperately holding onto this “fun” or “chill” house image, but since they lost half of their members last year, their chapter has changed dramatically. It’s not really a cohesive chapter and I see how some girls feel left out. Just a fair warning because I almost joined this house so I understand how tempting it might be, but I’m so glad I didn’t. In my opinion, you’re better off joining another mid tier house such as ADPi, SK or even ZTA and Tri Delta. Their pledge classes have been more consistent and they still have very similar frat relations, friends, etc.

Going to completely honest to any new pledge of this sorority. You can always drop. Try them. Allot of people dropped them during rush bc they were “lame”. Yes they are not popular. But they are the most accepting and sweetest girls. I’m a big girl and they took be in and gave me confidence I could never think I could get. They are great. But if you want a traditional glitter blowing on the beach sorority, look else where. Hands down the best people and sisterhood, but they are bottom tier bc they are nice. Like wtf they are thick beautiful women who want to make a change. Anyway, I’m dropping soon bc Greek life is not for me, but just know you can always leave, just give them a try.

solid middle, more similar to adpi, sk, zeta than delta sigma or tri delt
