Whew! I was honestly shocked when reading all of the bad reviews. My experiences with these girls have been so different and all positive. I think the bullying accusations have mostly been for the previous years, because although I'm a freshman, every GPHI I've met so far have been so? friendly? and? fun? to? hangout? with? Anyways, the girls in the current chapter are all really smart, very involved with school, hold several internships/jobs, yet still find the time to party! I wish I had their god complex tbh. From what I know and have seen, they seem to be really close with a bunch of other girls from other sororities. Like, some girls live with other sorority girls and being in Greek Life at UCR just seems like a big happy moment. Plus, GPhI's are the best looking and hang out with the best frats imo. I'm most likely going to join one next year.

Cuz their cool. They’re nice but not too nice where it seems fake. Plus they’re probably the best looking sorority on the ucr campus. Which isn’t saying much, but at least it’s saying something. A lot of the girls come From wealthy areas and drive nice cars.

Hi, I’m a new member of gphi, part of fall 2020 class to be specific. It seems that our sorority have failed to bring these issues to light and although our class were not there to witness these events, the amount of women coming out with their stories is hard to ignore. On behalf of my sorority, we are deeply sorry for those who have been victims of bullying and I’m here to say that your experience is valid. Class of 2020 will not tolerate any type of harassment towards other women, because this is not what we stand for. We should be building strong girls and inspiring the highest form of woman hood, and this is exactly why many of us joined gphi. It was very immature of some to treat others this way, and although classes are online, we hope to make a difference and show what our sorority is truly about. - Fall ‘20

I’m genuinely curious if anyone here have personally experienced bullying from gphi members from recent classes and if so can you guys share? Also only personal accounts and not something you guys have heard. I am looking to rush next year, and I have made friends that joined gphi and they love it? I don’t even know lol

In 2019 a couple Gphi girls spilled their drink on me on purpose at a party and it was really obvious. Next time I saw them was on Wednesday when they’re tabling by the tower, and I recognized the same girls that spilled their drink on me. As I walked by because I had to in order to get to my class, these girls started laughing and looking at me. It was so degrading and I just felt like crap. I don’t know about some of these posts here but trust me some of the bullying posts are real because I also know close friends that went through way worst than my story I’m telling you. But it’s not my story to tell since you wanted personal accounts. Please join a different sorority because although there may be a few nice girls in gphi, this sorority does not have a good rep with the rest of UCR although they themselves think they’re the best. The rest of UCR sees them in a pretty low light. Just thought I would share

Yeah they are. I don’t want to name them just for privacy reasons but there a lot of girls like that. I know not everyone is mean like that but a majority are because I have been there when other girls from Gphi have done worst things to my friend. So just know there are soo many of them. Also a girl from UCR has made a video about her experience with gphi and why she quit although it is like 1 or 2 years old. But you can check that out. I’ve seen it and it’s accurate from what my friends and I have experienced. I know there are people that have had great experiences and that’s awesome but know there is a huge proportion of individuals who have had seriously horrible experiences with gphi and these aren’t just some girls, it’s a lot of them. Also they will all stare at you in class and just look at you in such a demeaning way because they all sit together. I always hope I don’t have class with them lol

I’ve met a lot of girls from GPHI since my friends are in it anyways, and can’t talk about past classes but they really do be smart though. Very well-rounded women, and it’s unfortunate that most of the comments are dragging y’all down. Great philanthropy, highest GPA, and strong social media presence. Also, from what I’ve seen this year, imo the best apparel.

The comment i made earlier got deleted and I think we all know who’s responsible for that. I shared my horrible experience with girls I knew from the sorority, and why am I even shocked that Gphi would take it out so they won’t look bad. Keep taking out my comments gphi and I’ll keep making sure I add them on because u guys should not get away with bullying and belittling other girls.

Super well rounded group of girls! They’re involved all over campus and a lot of them are friends with other sororities. I think their dynamic has changed a lot in the past few years and they’re some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. I was talking to their president during recruitment and she was the nicest person I met during ALL of rush.
