Try hards and failures. It is as simple as that. There are three kind of fraternities. Top tier, bottom tier, middle tier. If there could be a tier that was bottom tier that tries to make it look to you like they are middle/top, that would be Delta Chi. Instead of actually building up their fraternity from the ground up they insist on lying to rushees and scapegoating their nationals to make you believe in something that is not. There is no honor in that.

The potential is there, but they are still behind everyone else. Everyone thought last year was there year to come up but look what happened. Nothing. Point being is you take a risk joining a fraternity like this. Do you want to join a middle tier fraternity that has a stigma of being an organization for former surf/snowboard/skate club members who have been removed from UCR? Or do you want to go elsewhere.

People hating on some fraternity, just shows how you represent your fraternity and how you actually strive for greek unity. These guys are a great group of guys that allow me to come out and kick it with them. They welcome people outside their brotherhood which makes me feel special. People need to start acting more mature.

Lets set the record straight. Pike is rushing Spring 2014. Enjoy it while it lasts. Pike is consistently the best fraternity at EVERY sport, not just one, lets see your championships. Nobody throws as crazy parties as Pike did before the police cracked down. Can't fall off if nobody can top us...Don't believe the hearsay study the results.

there are two kind of fraternities. fraternities who do have pledge processes and then fraternities who do not. sigma phi epsilon has no pledge process. its kind of like "you have a good GPA, now here are Greek letters" there's no tradition in that. you don't earn anything by just getting your letters. Thats not greek. Thats not fraternity. And there is no honor in that
