An honest opinion of Alpha Phi- they are one of the top sororities at LMU. They have high standards for their girls during recruitment, with a lot of emphasis on sociability and appearance. The sisters pretty much know who is going to get a bid early on during the recruitment process, and so should the PNMs - it's a mutual connection really. Some members are a little conceited, but most are fun loving and well rounded girls. People aren't popular for being mean or for no reason. Alpha Phis claim to value academics and philanthropy, and love to party (usually with SigEp and Sigma Chi). They are basically just girls who want to have fun.

Alpha Phi gets ripped on on LMU, and ya some of it is true. But they get judged when people barely know them. A lot of my friends are in alpha phi and they are super sweet and genuine. I love hanging with them, and even though some of them can be stuck up, they aren't ALL like that.

all they want in a girl is a lot of insta followers. if you dont have a specific number, you better be pretty or have a lot of money. they pick solely based on that

Yes its a top house but every girl hates each other and there is so much drama in the house... you will not find your forever friends and much less respect in this house

If their whole mentality is "only take blonde's" and "rings before spring",then I feel bad for them. College is so much more than that, but they're too miserable worrying about how theta is doing, so they miss all of the fun at this school

They pick girls based on their Instagram profile. So if someone is photogenic with a nice Instagram that makes them look rich and hot and cool then they choose them. I’ve seen some aphis that look atrocious in person but their instas look solid
