Before coming to LMU I assumed the alpha phi girls were just like the stereotype: pretty, rich, blonde, skinny, partiers. But honestly after meeting some they're so sweet, don't fit their stereotypes, and are just genuine and authentic people. I know a lot of people who just like to hate on them because they didn't get a bid.

tbh everyone loves to hate on aphi but it’s literally for no reason other than hating on one of the top houses. as a non affiliate senior, my favorite girls r honestly in aphi because they genuinely don’t care about rank or what people think of them, unlike some of the other sororities

There's no doubt that APhi is popular on campus, but they come across as very superficial. They're the rich, "pretty girl" sorority but they're not known for much beyond that. Individually, the Aphi's I've met are fantastic. But as a group, they act very elitist and exclusionary. Definitely cannot say much for their Panhellenic sisterhood involvement, they don't seem to care about any other sororities.

I talked to all of these girls during rush and non-rush events, and honestly they are aware of the stereotypes around Alpha Phi and they are trying to re-define those stereotypes in a good way. A lot of the current sophomore/juniors are amazing people and ultimately just want to have fun and be empowering. I ended up in a different chapter but honestly I can day that APhi stood out to me as being a really chill and genuinely cool house though the whole rush experience. I look forward to getting to know more of them tbh

Obviously the top house. Don’t even try to argue that lol u know it just as well as I do😐. They got the hottest girls probably along w theta, biggest social media presence, and the girls who hate on it just didn’t make it in. Yeah their rush process is f#cked up, and yeah they’re known as the “mean girls” who only pick the most photogenic girls to join. Still top tho🤷♂️that’ s just life
