if kappa sig is so try-hard (supposedly)....

by: IDK

why do all these top tier sororitys go and hangout with kappa Sig if they are that try hard and that middle tier. I am thoroughly confused.

They are upper tier but they're still try hards compared to most, if not all fraternities here. As for sororities, you'd have to ask them as to why they hang out with KSig.

1. Kappa Sig had a big membership review and went through a decline for a while. Their reputation of being "try hards" comes from the fact that during this recovery period they slipped in popularity and seemed desperate to be considered top tier again. Phi Psi and Sigma Chi still have better reputations but I could see Kappa Sig overtaking TKE in the top tier.

2. Top tier girls want more options than just Phi Psi, Sigma Chi and TKE. Three fraternities over four years in college get can get stale for some people.

pretty head on. The truth is though even if tke's members are becoming less interesting; theyre social status with the top tier sororitys and their recent parties has kept them and will still keep them afloat for a while. As why do top tier sororitys hang with kappa sig? well they mostly dont. They have gotten some slight attention from Pi phi and theta but for the most part they still hang with more mid tier sororities. Dg and and alpha phi wont even book events with them. But socially kappa sig still competes, just not with the top 3 sororitys. They will pull huge parties it will just be filled with all the mid tier sororities (still cool and hot girls), i think theyll come around in time but theyre still not as socially relevant as sig chi, phi psi, or tke. Not yet.
