what happens next?

I recieved a bid from a sorority but did not take it. Does this mean I can't do informal in the fall? I know there is spring informal and fall informal then recruitment. How does that exactly work?

No you can't do informal because you signed a card during pref that you would accept any of the options you listed. You can't do informal if you just dropped out

you won't be able to informal recruitment or formal recruitment for 1 calendar year after you received your bid (even if you didn't accept it)... so in your case it will be spring informal of 2017
