to all the houses that dropped me

To all the fine ladies that dropped me:
First of all, congratulations for finding girls that came off as better than me. It saddens me that I will not be a part of greek life, but I know I'm not alone. If any of you would stop for a second, you would realize that I am one of the most dedicated, loyal, hardworking girls. I volunteer at animal shelters, was a special olympics coach for two years, helped run Relay For Life at my high school, was a part of national, italian, and english honor society, graduated at the top of my class, and work a job while here at school with 20+ hours weekly. I'm the most kind, caring person that would do absolutely anything for a person in need. And since I know looks are a big part of it, I'm a beautiful girl, however this system seems to have told me otherwise. I'm not writing this to say that I'm better than anyone, but solely to say how disappointed I am in this process. So to all those houses that rejected me, thank you for allowing me to see that I am much more than what you seem to think I am.

Honestly, I'm sorry you didn't get a bid anywhere, that really sucks. But posting something like seems sounds very petty, & makes you seem like you actually think you are better than the hundreds of girls who went through recruitment.
Getting into the Greek system at a big school is hard. In a lot of the top tier sororities, if you're not a legacy or have really goods recs, then it's hard to get in. Not getting a bid doesn't mean you aren't worthy of those certain sororities, that you're unlikeable, not pretty enough, or unqualified. It most likely is because you didn't have the right connections. (My cousin recently became an Alpha Phi at Alabama...& she said that almost her entire pledge class are legacies.)
Keep your head up, get involved on campus, befriend more girls in the Greek system, & try again next year! I guarantee you will have better luck.
