colonizing vs. informal
by: conflictedI'm having a tough time deciding whether I should try colonizing zta or if I should just do informal, any advice?

Colonizing a chapter is a TON of work, you literally start with nothing. If you're not going to be up for putting in the work, then maybe informal is the way to go for you. That being said, if you're considering ZTA then check out their events and maybe try to go to one to at least get a feel for what their process is like. You know you best, and you know if you're going to put in the effort or not.

After seeing the Zetas today, I am going to colonize rather than do informal. They were really nice and Urban Meyer's wife was there and you know she is going to be really involved and that means they will have the support of the football team. After researching, ZTA is top tier on every campus they have an existing chapter. It may be work, but the football connection plus the national connection will make this top tier really quickly.

Colonize! I am a founding sister of another new chapter on campus and it was the greatest thing I did all of college. It's really worth it to grow with your new sisters! The first semester was a little rough because we were unfamiliar with the process so stick with it but I promise you won't regret it :)
