They get you a second look. lets say the first round you were about to get cut and the rec would save you for a second chance. That's pretty much the only thing it does.Rec. Letters arrive throughout fall semester so the recruitment chair can check you out, But really doesn't help at OSU.

So if you are considering rushing again try to friend some girls in that particular house and they possible could help you get into your desired house
